    Friday, July 24: Stage 19 - Gap → Alpe d'Huez (128 km)
Short, nervy and spectacular, stage 19 of the Tour de France 2026 will start from Gap and reach Alpe d'Huez after 128 km of intense racing. The route takes in a series of cols:
    - du Bayard
    - du Noyer
    - d'Ornon
    - before the final ascent of the 21 legendary bends (13.8 km at 8.1%).
This stage promises to be explosive: the climbers will try to shine, and the favourites will have to remain vigilant before the big stage the following day!
The short, dynamic 19th stage (128 km) will start from Gap and will take in the Col Bayard, Col du Noyer (7.2 km at 8.5%) and Col d'Ornon before the classic ascent of the 21 bends (13.8 km at 8.1%).

On Sunday, July 19, the amateur stage of the Tour will follow the same route as the pro stage.
  • Tips
Follow stage 20 on Saturday, July 25, a monumental stage where everything can still change before the big finish in Paris on Sunday, July 26. Never before has such a difficult stage been placed so late in the Tour. A "virgin" terrain for "BUILDING HISTORY described by the Tour director as "breathtaking". After these two days of anthology, the peloton will reach Paris for the final finish, on Sunday July 26, 2026. But it's at l'Alpe d'Huez, on its legendary switchbacks, that the Tour will experience its final battle, the one that will make the difference before the Champs-Élysées. The amateur stage of the Tour will take place on Sunday, July 19, on the same course as the pro race.
