Tourism Quality

A recognised quality approach

For many years, the Oz 3300 Tourist Office has been committed to a process of continuous improvement in order to offer visitors, partners and local businesses a warm welcome and high-quality services.

Initial recognition came in May 2017 with the award of the Qualité Tourisme™ label, which was renewed in June 2020 for a period of five years. In August 2017, the Tourist Office was also classified in Category I, attesting to the excellence of its work in welcoming visitors, providing information and promoting the area.

Today, building on this commitment, the Tourist Office is moving towards the ‘Destination d’Excellence’ label, the new national benchmark for quality and sustainable development. As part of this, an audit is scheduled for summer 2026, a key milestone that will assess the actions undertaken and confirm the standard of excellence achieved by the Tourist Office.

The certification is based on compliance with a national standard common to all tourist offices. It recognises the day-to-day work of the teams and confirms the organisation’s commitment to service quality, accessibility and internal organisation, for the benefit of all its stakeholders: visitors, partners and institutional clients.

Classified as Category I

The Quality of an Organisation

In 2022, the Oz 3300 Tourist Office also had its Category 1 classification renewed, the highest level of classification awarded to tourist offices in France.

Awarded for a period of five years, this official classification recognises the quality of the organisation, services and initiatives carried out by the Tourist Office to welcome, inform and support visitors throughout their stay.

This recognition highlights the Tourist Office’s central role in promoting and developing Oz 3300 as a destination, as well as its commitment to providing a professional welcome and services tailored to the expectations of tourists.

Classified Tourist Resort

Oz 3300 has been recognised as a ‘classified tourist resort’ since 2020, a distinction that attests to the excellence of its facilities and the quality of its tourism organisation.

The resort offers a diverse range of high-quality accommodation, suitable for welcoming non-resident visitors throughout the year. It pursues an active policy of hospitality, information provision and tourism promotion, ensuring a high standard of service.

Oz 3300 showcases its natural environment and heritage and is supported by a Category 1Tourist Office, which provides information, a warm welcome and guidance to visitors in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Finally, the presence of local shops and services contributes significantly to the quality of the welcome and the comfort of visitors.

Environmental Responsibility

A resort committed to the environment

Oz 3300, at the heart of a committed ski area!

A pedestrian-only resort nestled in the heart of the Grandes Rousses massif, Oz 3300 forms an integral part of the Espace Alpe d’Huez ski area, a region firmly committed to an environmentally responsible approach.

Through the SATA Group, the Espace Alpe d’Huez ski area places the preservation of the mountains at the heart of its activities, believing it is its responsibility to protect this natural heritage and its ecosystems in a sustainable manner.

As part of this approach, Oz 3300 benefits directly from the initiatives implemented across the ski area: protecting biodiversity, sustainable resource management, reducing the carbon footprint and ensuring developments blend seamlessly into the landscape.

True to its identity as a family-friendly, car-free resort, Oz fully embodies this vision of more sustainable tourism, offering an authentic mountain experience that is environmentally friendly and forward-looking.
